Saturday October 7, the Agoura Varisty XC teams competed in the annual Asics Clovis Invitational. In its 44th year, this race continues to draw elite competition from California schools in preparation for the State Championships this November.

Of over 250 boys in the medium school division, Darrick Jacob (15:58.1) finished 17th and Matthew Alpert (16:17.0) finished 22nd, placing Agoura Boys in 3rd place. Jenna Johnson (19:21.2) finished 22nd in the medium school division, with a 1 min PR! Agoura Girls placed 17th out of 32 teams.
