Five RBI Day for Luka Bladow Brings in Win For Agoura Varsity Chargers Over Oaks Christian

Luka Bladow was bad news for opposing pitchers on Monday, driving in five on two hits to lead Agoura Varsity Chargers past Oaks Christian 16-11 on Monday.  Bladow drove in runs on a walk in the first, a walk in the second, and a home run in the third.

Agoura Varsity Chargers grabbed an early lead.  Agoura Varsity Chargers scored on a fielder’s choice by Ethan Kearney in the first inning, a walk by Michael Moran in the first inning, a walk by Bladow in the first inning, a sacrifice fly by Braden Feliciano in the first inning, a single by Moran in the second inning, a walk by Bladow in the second inning, a single by Feliciano in the second inning, and a error in the second inning.

After Agoura Varsity Chargers scored three runs in the top of the third, Oaks Christian answered with three of their own.  Agoura Varsity Chargers scored when Bladow homered on a 0-1 count, scoring three runs.  Oaks Christian then answered when T Farmer doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs and Q Young singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Agoura Varsity Chargers took the lead for good with six runs in the second inning.  In the second Moran singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Bladow drew a walk, scoring one run, Feliciano singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs, and an error scored two runs for Agoura Varsity Chargers.

Sam Rowley got the win for Agoura Varsity Chargers. The fireballer allowed 11 hits and five runs over six and a third innings, striking out three and walking one.

J Onaca took the loss for Oaks Christian. The hurler surrendered eight runs on five hits over one and one-third innings, striking out one.

Ethan Broome started the game for Agoura Varsity Chargers. The ace went two-thirds of an inning, allowing six runs on four hits and striking out one
