Agoura Varsity Chargers Falls to Westlake

Westlake got things started in the first inning.  A Cusworth drew a walk, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the third inning, Agoura Varsity Chargers tied things up at two.  Michael Moran drove in one when Moran singled.

Westlake pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning.  In the fourth Na. Johnson singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

A Haberman was the winning pitcher for Westlake. The fireballer went five and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out six.  Cusworth threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Cusworth recorded the last four outs to earn the save for Westlake.

Ethan Broome took the loss for Agoura Varsity Chargers. The pitcher surrendered three runs on seven hits over five innings, striking out five.

Myles Kallinger went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Agoura Varsity Chargers in hits.

Westlake racked up ten hits on the day.  E Bolger, Johnson, and K Youmans each had multiple hits for Westlake.
