AGOURA CROSS COUNTRY

2025 Woodbridge XC Classic Recap

Boys XC

The Charger XC boys had another strong showing at the Woodbridge XC Classic! This meet is now the largest high school cross country meet in the nation.

The boys were led by Dorian Bening who ran a huge new PR of 14:25 on the 3-mile course, taking 3rd Place in the Varsity Rated race. (Dorian tied Ethan Godsey’s career 3-Mile PR from 2021, making him one of the two fastest Agoura runners ever at Woodbridge.)

Lucas Gary also came up big, breaking the 15 minute barrier with his 14:57 PR. Dorian and Lucas are the first tandem to run sub-15 for Agoura since 2015! (Cole Hoff and Logan Grove in 2015)

We had 9 boys finish under 16 minutes – the first time that this many have done so in program history!

The top 9 boys were:

14:25 – Dorian Bening

14:57 – Lucas Gary

15:31 – Ryuto Matsumoto

15:34 – Dakota D’Amore

15:40 – Ian Carew

15:42 – Kamran Khursheed

15:47 – Agam Moyal

15:48 – Ethan Trafficanda

15:50 – Gage McGinnis

The Freshmen boys placed 5th as a team out of 30 freshmen teams in their race, and each of them earned patches for their Top 5 team achievement.

In all, 28 out of the 34 Agoura boys who raced had new PRs at Woodbridge!

Our next meet is on 30th – a Marmonte League cluster meet at Newbury Park.
