BXC had a very good showing at the CIF State XC Championships over the weekend.

The team came into the State Championships not ranked in the state Division 3 top 10. This fired up the team to finish in the top 10.

At the first mile, the team was in 21st place out of 25 teams and they used the second mile to throw down a planned 1200m surge which got them up to 11th place. They threw down one more surge in the final 600m to clinch a 10th place finish.

The team was led by JP Glynn who placed 35th overall (out of 214 runners) in a PR time of 15:49 on the Woodward Park 5k championship race course. Dorian Bening was the next Agoura finisher in 16:03, and Lucas Gary ran another huge clutch race to be the third finisher for Agoura in a PR time of 16:14
