Clovis Invitational- October 10
Boys XC
The Varsity boys team had a very good day at the Clovis Invitational. The Charger boys took 4th Place in the Steve Ward Boys Championship race. This race was seeded with 16 ranked teams from Divisions 3, 4, and 5 from around the state.
Dorian Bening was the #1 runner for Agoura with a time of 15:11 on the 5k Woodward park course, placing 6th overall. Dorian is the fastest Agoura runner on this course since Bryan Dameworth back in 1989. Dorian is now the #2 Agoura boy at Woodward Park, besting the 15:13 run by State Champion Ryan Wilson at the 1992 State XC Championships.
All seven Agoura boys ran a PR on the Woodward Park course.
Girls XC
Good racing from the girls this morning!! Reese Tamburro finished 6th out of 215 runners in her race with the varsity team finishing 13th out of 30 teams from around the state. Cora Rossitto and Jenna Johnson were the 2 and 3 finishers for the girls.
