2025 VCC Recap
Boys XC
The BXC team had a solid showing at the Ventura County Championships at Lake Casitas, despite being a little undermanned.
The Varsity boys placed 5th as a team, even with running some JV boys to help bolster the undermanned team. Dakota D’Amore was our top finisher in 16:37 on the very hilly 3-mile Lake Casitas course.
The Freshman boys team placed 2nd overall, earning them a team plaque. Cooper Glynn was the 6th overall individual out of 140 boys, finishing with a time of 17:22.
The Sophomore boys team Placed 5th as a team, and the JV boys team placed 7th.
Multiple Agoura boys earned medals at the meet across all races.
Girls XC
Another great race for Girls XC. The girls continue to work hard and show progress. The course at Lake Casitas is hilly and challenging, however, many of our runners have shown improvement year over year. Trusting the process is key to the strong performances that we are witnessing.
- Reese Tamburro led the team with a strong time of 18:32.6.
- Several runners demonstrated remarkable improvement compared to previous races or last year. Most notably, sophomores Amelia Grant and Ohmry Caberty cut more than three minutes from their times.
- Zoe Severin, Madison McNabb, Paige Piedmonte, Cora Rossitto, and Reese Tamburro all surpassed their previous bests on this course.
