2025 League Finals Recap

Celebrating Senior Day & League Finals at Agoura High School

Thursday Novembr 6 marked a memorable day at Agoura High School as we hosted the Marmonte League Finals and celebrated our incredible Class of 2026 seniors. The event brought together teams within the Marmonte League, including Calabasas, Newbury Park, Oaks Christian, Thousand Oaks, and Westlake High School, and dedicated time to honor our seniors who have poured years of dedication, sweat, and heart into the Agoura cross country program.

Boys XC

The Agoura Boys XC team had a great day at the Marmonte League Finals!

The JV Boys team defended their Marmonte League Champions title by placing all 5 scorers in the top 7. The team was led by Dakota D’Amore who placed 2nd overall with a time of 16:16 on the 3-mile Agoura XC course. Dakota was followed by Ethan Trafficanda (16:19), Gage McGinnis (16:25), Dylan Stein (16:32), and Cooper Glynn (16:40) to secure the team’s victory.

The Varsity Boys team won the Marmonte League Champions title for the first time since 2015. The Charger boys were led by Dorian Bening who placed 2nd overall and set a new school course record with a time of 14:59, breaking the old record of 15:01 set by Cole Hoff back in 2015. Dorian was followed by Ethan Deleau (15:40), Lucas Gary (15:46), Agam Moyal (15:50), and Ian Carew (15:53) to close out the scoring 5.

The 5 scoring Varsity boys had a 15:38 average time and a team time of 78:11, placing them in the Top 10 teams of all-time on the Agoura XC course.

On to CIF we go!

Girls XC

In the girls Varsity race, Reese Tamburro finished 7th (18:08.24), qualifying her for CIF. Cora Rossito, Jenna Johnson, and Paige Piedmonte ran a strong race to finish top 25.

Our runners have consistently shown that perseverance and dedication lead to real progress. Their hard work, resilience, and team spirit have truly paid off this season, and we couldn’t be prouder of their performance!
