Coach Pratt has been involved in Cross Country since his competition days at the Youth, High School, and Collegiate levels.  A Framing Contractor by day, he became a Walk On Coach in 2012.

His Coaching career began in 2006 with the West Valley Eagles Youth Track & Field and Cross Country Programs where his teams won 3 consecutive National Titles from 2009 – 2011.  He served as Vice President for the West Valley Eagles, a program that produced 6 future Olympians.

He became Agoura’s Cross Country Head Coach in 2013.  His High School Teams have since won 4 League Titles, 1 CIF Title, and 7 State Championship appearances, including 2 podium finishes at CIF Finals and 2 podium finishes at State, with six top 10 finishes at the State Championship.

• 2019 – 2020 National Federation of HS Boys C. Country Coach of the Year, West Section

Currently, Coach Pratt splits his Head Coaching duties with Coach Jeff Wells (former Canoga Park High School teammate).  Coach Pratt’s Motto is “Fun Faster” and often quotes that “Winning happens before you get to the Starting Line”.
