Woodbridge XC Classic Recap
Boys XC
The Charger XC boys had another strong showing at the 45th Woodbridge XC Classic!
The Varsity Boys placed 2nd out of 49 teams in their Varsity Gold race, earning them medals and patches for their efforts. The Agoura boys were led by Ryuto Matsumoto who ran a new PR of 15:07 on the 3-mile course. All 5 scorers ran under 15:30.
This year’s Varsity team time was just 4 seconds off of last year’s Varsity team, proving that this year’s team didn’t drop off much from last year.

15:20 – Dakota D’Amore

15:49 – Max Slingenberg
16:31 – Evan Ross
In all, 23 out of the 28 Agoura boys who raced set new career PRs at Woodbridge!
Our next meet is on 29th – the Marmonte League Preview cluster meet at Newbury Park.
Girls XC
Another Great day of racing for the Agoura Girls Cross Country team!! 8 of the 11 girls racing medaled in their races. All of the girls set either personal records or course records for the evening. They improved on their 3 mile race times anywhere from 1 minute to almost 3 mins faster!! Frosh Maggie Firedlander had the largest improvement finishing at 21:46 , a 2:48 sec improvement.
The Sophomore girls placed 2nd place in their race. They were led by Tindra McKinley followed by Shana Gopinath with help from Freshman Naomi Ellison and Lily Tomkins. Exchange student Nathalie Neumann rounded out the scoring for the girls.
We are a young team but getting better every race!!!
