The Acorn: Reese Tamburro
On September 20, 2025, Eliav Appelbaum published an article in The Acorn highliging Reese Tamburro, a junior at Agoura High School. Reese recently secured first place at the Cool Breeze Invitational cross country race in Pomona, clocking in at 18:42 among 288 competitors. Reese, a 4.16 GPA scholar-athlete, has excelled in four varsity sports: cross country, track and field, soccer, and softball. Despite a sluggish start, she overcame challenges to win the race, supported by her family, including her twin sister Quinn, a standout softball player. Reese’s dedication and hard work over the summer have paid off, and she aims to continue improving and competing at high levels. Way to go, Reese!
